Suncity Fashion Weekend Mourns Sunyani Hemaa

The management of Platinum Edge Events says it has postponed its annual Sun City Fashion Weekend -February Experience- in honour of the burial and funeral of the late Sunyani Hemaa Nana Yaa Nyamaa Puduo II which is slated from 26th Feb to 28Feb this year.

CEO of the multiple award winning house, Mario Nii Armah made this known to KKbPortal when we sought to inquire more about this year's event.

"To honour our late mother, we decided not to merge her sorrowful demise with any form of Merry making since it's undoubtedly truism that many enjoy themselves through both site and scene" he noted.

He however confirmed that plans are far advanced towards the program.

"Since this edition is our fifth year, we are making it in a grandstyle where renowned and crackerjacks of fashion designers and models will rock and roll on the runway with slain apparels to please our  discerning patrons for the night" Mr Armah noted.

On the success story of the past four editions, Mario observed "through our past shows, many many fashion designers have been discovered and won national and international contracts, it has led to the establishment of modelling agencies in the region, models from the region have been discovered, it has put the region on the national map in terms of fashion and lastly it has provided a classy platform for elites to relax and enjoy a calm atmosphere of glamour and allure"


Mario hastened to reveal the Sun City Fashion Weekend remains outstanding as it has won two enviable awards for the year 2019.

"Ghana Tourism Authority awarded us the   event of the year 2019 and Glamstyle Awards gave us the Event of the year as well. We however invite individuals and cooperate organizations who want to organize parties, weddings and all sort of gatherings to indulge our services and we will wow them as we have the crop of expertise needed for the job" he added.
