CAPITAL RURAL BANK WINS BIG AT RURAL/COMMUNITY EXCELLENCE AWARDS

Sunyani based Capital Rural Bank has won big at the 3rd Rural/Community Banks Excellence Awards 2018.

 CRB was adjudged the second most profitable bank behind Builsa Community Bank.

This was received during the 20th Biennial General Meeting of Association of  Rural Bank Ghana held at Bolegatanga during from 22nd to 25 November, 2018.


Responding to this accolade, the General Manager of the bank, Mr Stephen Adu-Yeboah thanked their cherished customers for their commitment entrusted in them.

"Over a decade of existence, we can only be thankful to our customers for trusting us to manage their funds for them. We want to assure them we will insist on our usual best banking practices to serve them better" he stressed.

Mr Adu-Yeboah hinted in spite of the high incidence of bad debt in the banking sector, it has adopted productive strategies to empower customers in business advisory.

"To ensure our customers do not misuse their  loans, we give them business advisory services to empower them in managing the money profitably" he added.

On the minimum capital requirement for the Rural/Community banks which was capped at one million Ghana Cedis, he hinted the bank raised the amount in December 2017.
