Mr Emmanuel Amankona keeps on stealing to still the attention of the patrons who savour his artworks just like the pesky gadfly which buzzes around an onlooking camel on a desert.

Those who cared to read my maiden story about Pencilmenia describing him as a quintessential
Pierre-Yves Riveau “PEZ” called back to express appreciation after he caressed their images with his lead.

He has this time round mesmerized his followers with an aesthetic pleasing portrait of the Liberian president H.E. George Oppong Weah.

George Tawlon Manneh Oppong Ousman Weah is a Liberian politician and former professional footballer currently serving as the 25th President of Liberia, in office since 2018. Prior to his election to the presidency, Weah served as Senator from Montserrado County. During his football career, he played as a striker for teams like Monaco, Paris Saint-Germain, AC Milan, Chelsea and Manchester City, Marseille and Al-Jazira    .

Ghana played a major role in his upbringing especially during the war in Liberia when their national team was based in Ghana at the time, but he is not a Ghanaian. Don't be tricked because he bears Ghanaian name Oppong.

As to why Pencimenia painted him, I'm still at sea. But you can call him on +233 573 512 224 to find out...Thank me later
