Young but inspirational Brong Ahafo regional New Patriotic Party deputy youth organizer, Shadrach Abrefa Mensa has underscored the need for political activists to remain calm but resolute in their pursuit for political power.

Speaking to KKbPortal, the vibrant youth attributed the defeat of Mr Brogya Gemfi, a contender in the recent national youth organizer position to his unwarranted speeches which sought to incite the National Democratic Congress vigilante group The Hawks to be aggressive and notorious as against the public outcry against such groups which perpetrate horrendous crimes in the country.

"Brogya's misdemeanor towards the National Commission for Civic Education and other groups against vigilantism in a video as he met The Hawks was evident that he was going to loose. He had a lot of loose talks slipping off his lips believing that, such perilous antics is what the electorates wanted to hear. People are becoming enlightened and want to hear words of substance" the banker hinted.

He again signed a word a caution to his likes who want to enter and survive in the political arena to remain committed to the ideals of their political parties and listen to the grassroots rather than just associating themselves with some acclaimed big wigs in their parties.

"My brother, Brogya Genfi was carried away by self- approbation and was confident that his affiliation to "some big wigs" in his party could do the magic for him" Mr Abrefa noted.

Former Deputy Minister of Food and Agriculture, Dr. Hanna Bissiw, has been elected the National Women’s Organizer of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) while former Municipal Chief Executive of Akuapem North, George Opare Addo, as the National Youth Organizer of the party.

The election which took place at the Pentecost Convention Centre at Gomoa Feteh in the Central Region on 27th Oct 2018.
