BEREKUMMAN CITIZENS ASSOCIATION COMMISSIONS BOREHOLES FOR FOUR COMMUNITIES



The Berekumman Citizens Association has commissioned boreholes for some communities which were deprived of potable water ahead of the association's official inauguration.

The founder of the association, Evangelist Paul Osei Agyemang led a high power delegation of executives of the association to hand over and officially open bore holes for the residents of Antredua , Kotaa Forest , Akatim and Adukro all in Berekum.

Throwing more light on the purpose of the project this is what he said.

"The central business district of Berekum is not bedeviled with water scarcity due the water plant at Nsapor but our rural areas have the problems. And we can't look on to hang every burden around the neck of government hence we decided to touch the lives in such communities. We hope to expand to other communities" The Evangelist hinted.



As part of the association's activities to foster unity and pool resources of indegines of Berekum to augment government's effort for development, he hinted of an upcoming inauguration  and fundraising.


" It's our prime motive to ensure development moves faster, we will innuagurate the association on 26th August and as part raise funds to build a clinic for the town. We are as well reaching out to indegines who are in Ghana and outside to donate to support the projects on our lists" Agya Pasei revealed.

The chiefs and residents of the four communities who were cloacked with gleam and happiness expressed high contentment to the association for the aquifer offered them. They however promised to apply maintenance culture to sustain the lifespan of the boreholes.


Mr Kwame Oppong , Mr & Mrs Oppong Barima of Germany,Master Ali and the Members of the Association were in company during the commissioning.

Nana Dr Daasebre Amankona Diawuo II, the Omanhene of Berekum will be the chairman for the innuaguration.
