BLAME NPP FOR NO BED SYNDROME -PROGRESSIVE GHANA

A pro-NDC pressure group Progressive Ghana based in Sunyani has blamed the current government for the recent unfortunate deaths emanating from the No bed syndrome.

Below is a press release signed by Obed Koah Opintan the conveyor.

BLAME THE NPP GOVERNMENT FOR THE RECENT NO BED SYNDROME IN THE COUNTRY

Over the years we have known the NPP to be nation wreckers and the current happenings justifies it all. What is really happening in this country? I mean the current government? The current government(NPP) has demonstrated gross incompetence Ghana has ever witnessed.

In their days in opposition they chastised almost every project put up by John Dramani Mahama. The NDC government invested so much in health care providing about 1,200 CHIPS compound across the country, building and renovating of various hospitals, the famous of all is the RIDGE hospital and the University of Ghana Medical Centre (UGMC) hospital which has been left to rot by the current NPP government and its assigns.

The NPP government has halted so many projects in this country which was commenced by the erstwhile John Dramani Mahama government due to pettiness. The cruelty of this governments not to open the famous UGMC hospital has led to people losing their lives as a result of no beds in the City of Accra and other government hospitals. The question one would ask is, why would a fully furnished hospital be left to gather dust.

This issue has kept most people in the country wondering if the NPP cares about the well-being of the citizenry in the country. Various activist group has put pressure on government to open the UGMC hospital, a student was arrested some few days ago after an attempt to show the first lady a placard to remind her husband about the dire need of the UGMC hospital but this government paid a deaf ear to the cry of the inhabitants. So if someone is dead as a result of no bed in the country then whom are we to blame if not the current NPP government.

But after thought why should pressure even be mounted on government to open a health facility which has been fully furnished when they know how critical we need them to solve health issues. The death of the 70 year old man who died few days ago is no different and is a clear case of governments total negligence.

This has subjected the country into international ridicule and you just cant fathom what is wrong with the NPP government. The NDC built it and it was chastised by the NPP.

Now the NPP is in power and is fighting over who is to manage the facility really NPP? Is that not cruelty? Is the NPP not mean? Are they not ashamed? Indeed posterity will be the judge for us all.

This reminds me of the famous quote; “lie is quick to win but eventually truth becomes the winner we will leave the rest to the public to judge”.
