BRA DEA DONATES TO MUSLIMS

Bra Dea Foundation has donated 30 packs bottled water to the Brong Ahafo regional chief Imam and Muslims in the region.

The donation was made to the office of the Imam in connection with the ongoing Ramadan festival.

Michael Marcus Paapa Edwards the executive director of the NGO hinted his outfit in collaboration with Verna Mineral Water donated the 30 packs of the pure and refreshing bottled water to express their support for the holy journey our brothers and sisters are embarking on.

"As part of our core mandate to touch lives, we felt it as a matter of necessity to reach out to our brothers who are embarking on this holy journey and strengthen them to pray for our dear nation. We believe this will spur them on as they will know we are with them in spirit. We hope this year's Ramadan will bring forth more blessings and change in attitude among the youth Insha Allah" Papa Sunyani noted.

On the part of Chief Imam Alhaji Moro Abdulkadir, he expressed profound gratitude for the kind gesture extended to the Muslim fraternity.

"On behalf of the Muslim community in the region, I am her grateful for the gesture. It's our prayer Allah will replenish wherever the funds came from. As its scripted in the Qur'an 002.215 They ask thee what they should spend (In charity). Say: Whatever ye spend that is good, is for parents and kindred and orphans and those in want and for wayfarers. And whatever ye do that is good, -Allah knoweth it well" Alhaji Abdulkadir noted.

He however advised Muslims to restrain from any deed which mars the intended purpose of the sacred journey, entreating every Muslim especially the youth to take part.

Alhaji Sualla Abdalla Quanda, secretary for the Regional Peace Council was at the colourful event.
