“The association will need the assistance of Ghana government to augment our efforts in training them. After graduation, the graduates will also require the help of government to acquire tools and equipment to start up their business and we are hopeful the government with its industrial agenda will do that for us” Nana Kentenbutu pleaded.

The field of apprenticeship includes, driving, hair dressing, auto mechanics, tailoring, Cobbler, fabrics (tie and die) etc. Currently, the association has enrolled over 325 young people engaging them in the various artistry.

The president however entreated parents and guardians to provide the necessary support for their wards who are into apprenticeship to sustain 5heir interest in the path they have taken.

“I urge Parents have to support their wards in apprenticeship just as they do for their wards in formal education. Our failure to appreciate the path these determined youth have taken will wean their interest” she advised.

The young enthused youth were so appreciative about the kind gesture extended them by the association.
