Evangelist Lord Kenya has expressed worry over the silence of media practitioners on the immoral behaviours celebrities put up.

Speaking to Cardinal Akwasi Takyi on the Entertainment Juice on Angel 92.3 Fm in Sunyani, he noted many media practitioners were aware of his immoral life during his hey days but out of either fear or favour, refused to criticize him to help him refrain from such acts until he repented.

"Many media guys knew what I was doing but out of fear they failed to expose me. Until I said it myself after my encounter with Christ at the ghetto, they failed to tell me the truth in the face. This is still ongoing and it is affecting the celebrities negatively. Cardinal you people should amass courage to help reform people suffering from drug abuse addiction and immoral sexual life to desist through exposing them. At least they are tole models for the up and coming ones” the Sika baa hit maker pointed out.

On the conversion and sustenance of celebrities faith in Christ, he noted that it was not easy when he converted in the initial stage but with his persistent faith in Christ he sailed through. He however hinted over 20 secular artistes have contacted him to help them anchor their faith in Christ.

“it’s wasn’t easy when I encountered Christ at the initial stages, many people can not hold on if they don’t relentlessly hold their faith in their maker. Over 20 artistes have spoken with me to help them sustain their calling but it requires divine intervention and unrelinquishing faith in Christ” Philip Abraham Kojo Akpor revealed.

He however called on the Christian Council to provide assistance for celebrities who proclaim their acceptance of Christ as their saviour saying

“The Christian Council has to provide physical, spiritual and mentoring assistance to celebrities who accept Christ. Though the Council doesn’t owe the celebrities any contractual allegiance to save their souls, but after they convert they come under spiritual attacks and are lured back to their former lavish and fleshy lifestyle. These converted celebrities therefore require mentorship and monitoring to help them sustain their interest in the new path they want to take. I have not received such a gesture all this while” the former rap heavyweight champion pleaded.

The forty-year old Evangelist converted as a Christian in 2010. He has albums like Sika, Sika Baa, Yeesom Sika, Sika Mpo Fane Ho, Akasieni, Born Again and God Dey to his credit.
