The inmates at the Sunyani Central Prisons have been treated with kindness during this Christmas festivity kind courtesy Bra Dea Foundation.

 The CEO of the charity organization Michael Paapa Marcus Edwards in company with other executives paid a visit to the prison with assorted items ranging from toiletries, cooking oil, bags of rice, sachets water, and other items needed for the up keep of the inmates totalling GH₵3,500 on Dec 24.

 The CEO, Papa Sunyani as affectionately called, in his presentation speech, noted that its the priority of the organization to put smiles on the face of the needy and the less privileged in the society, in that vein he decided to restore hope in the lives of these inmates since anyone can be a potential victim of such tragic conditions.

 “I chose to visit here and give out my widow’s might to spur them on. The outside world also have them at heart . Probably I will call on the government to provide conducive environment for them because today one is a free man but tomorrow can be a convict” Mr Marcus noted.

Some of the inmates who interacted with kkbportal expressed their profound gratitude to Bra Dea for their kind gesture and appealed to the general public to come to their aid.

 “Conditions here are very harder. It at times seems that, here is just a punitive place without the motive of reformation. We will appeal to others to come and support us” one of the inmates cried out.

 This is the fourth time Bra Dea has extended love to the public after donations to Compassion is in love action orphanage at Yawhima, Ayakomaso Primary sch and Disabled Family at Area 2 all in Sunyani.
