The head pastor of Victory Bible Church International branch in Berekum has noted that prophecies and intercessory prayers are not for sale.

Prophet Paul Heaven Kusi in an interview with Kkbportal sought to advise well meaning Christians in the country to be wary of men and women of God who tend to turn the house of God into a lucrative business to enable them to live lavishing lifestyles.

"Christians have to live righteous life and study the gospel. This will help them to segregate the good ones from the false ones who tend to sell both prophecies and anointing oil to their congregation to fill their pockets" Prophet Kusi noted.

He quickly added that some revelations might require some spiritual directions but not all of them will require a fee to cleanse the person or avert the spiritual curse.

Prophet Kusi also pleaded with his colleague men of God to be circumspect and cautious about when, how and where they proclaim prophecies about renowned people and organizations to sustain the intensity of the prophecies.

"Where and how we declare our prophecies really matter. When it said in the public places,  it appears to loose publicity stunts. I will therefore insist that we approach persons and organizations in privacy though some will feel we need personal favour. I believe that it is more professional and avoid any form of ambiguity and doubts" the man of God advised.

He therefore entreated persons who receive prophecies with necessary attention to prevent any form calamity befalling on them.
