CATHOLIC UNIVERSITY EMBARKS ON ENTREPRENEURSHIP DRIVE 



The entrepreneurship Innovation Centre of the Catholic University College of Ghana is calling on the general public especially the youth to develop keen interest in entrepreneurship. Mr George Kafui Agbozo the head of the center has disclosed that the center is geared towards cultivating the habit of entrepreneurship among its patrons to explore the possibilities of creating new ways of setting up and sustaining businesses.

He made this clarion call at the maiden edition of entrepreneurship seminar dubbed "Developing Entrepreneurship Mindset " at the school premises at Fiapre.

"This is the first of the series the center's activities. Since entrepreneurship is a key for national economic liberation, we want to beat the drum till young entrepreneurs follow their passion" Mr. Agbozo noted

The vice Chancellor of the university, Dr Daniel Obeng Ofori heralded the youth to take both chances and risks to utilize their academic knowledge and life experiences to venture into businesses with unique approach and scope.

"the youth have to apply formal education competencies with day to day experiences to start up businesses which will provide solutions to pertinent everyday problems in our societies. This I believe will bring them financial breakthrough because people like originality" The former Pro Vice Chancellor of University of Energy and Natural Resources said.

The program was graced by Oberempon Kyem-Amponsah II the Fiaprehene, He therefore called on investors to choose his land as a destination of industrialisation. The Head of the Department of Nutrition and Food Science of the University of Ghana, Legon,  again employed  young entrepreneurs to be financially discipline if they want their business to flourish.
